Canvas Print - Woman's Island

The Zimmermann family had a summer house on the Chiemsee in Bavaria. In 1932 Elizabeth Lloyd-Jones (Zimmermann) painted this watercolor of the convent on the Fraueninsel; the “woman’s island.” (On the nearby Herreninsel, the “man’s island,” there was a monastery.)
